Auchmuty House is built.

[1756] It is located at the corner of Warren Street and Clifford Street. Built by a Loyalist judge and member of the Governor’s Council who subsequently leaves Boston for Halifax, it subsequently becomes the home of Gov. Increase Summer and the place where he died. It is also the place where the First Baptist society of Roxbury is organized.
